Julian Hall keeps on rising to the occasion during his first US men's national team camp.
Red Bull New York's star forward opened the scoring in the USMNT's 3-0 defeat of arch-rivals Mexico on Saturday night, marking his third straight international game with a goal.
The 18-year-old homegrown standout was in the right place at the right time, knocking in Gio Reyna's low cross after Mexico goalkeeper Raúl Rangel failed to collect it.
With his 28th-minute strike, Hall became just the third player in USMNT history to score three goals in his first three games, joining Eddie Johnson (2004-05) and Alexander Rae (1937).
Debut goal
Hall's run of three goals in three USMNT games began last weekend with a debut strike in a 4-1 rout of Peru, bundling in a probing cross from former Vancouver Whitecaps FC star Sebastian Berhalter.
Making history
Hall maintained momentum in his second USMNT appearance, heading home Reyna's cross to ignite a 4-2 comeback win over Chile earlier this week.
That tally made Hall the youngest player in USMNT history to score in each of his first two caps.
Club and country
Hall's USMNT ascent comes amid a breakout season with the Red Bulls, with whom he signed a homegrown contract in September 2023 as a 15-year-old.
This campaign, Hall has a team-high 15 goal contributions (10g/5a) for RBNY and earned an MLS All-Star nod this past summer.
Hall is one of two RBNY homegrowns currently with the USMNT, getting the call alongside 17-year-old midfielder Adri Mehmeti during the program's first camp following the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Up next, Hall and Mehmeti have another chance to impress USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino when the Yanks host Canada on Tuesday night at Minnesota United FC's Allianz Field.
