TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Extension
The LA Galaxy have signed goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski to a contract extension, the club announced Friday.
The 29-year-old former US youth international's new deal lasts through the 2028-29 MLS season.
Marcinkowski has six clean sheets over 27 starts across all competitions since joining the Galaxy ahead of the 2025 season. He spent the previous seven seasons (2018-24) as a San Jose Earthquakes homegrown player, posting 18 clean sheets in 95 regular-season matches.
"JT has been a consummate professional and competitor since his arrival," said general manager Will Kuntz. "He has taken advantage of every opportunity he's received to earn his place and provides a steady, reliable veteran presence for the group.
"We are happy to ensure that JT will continue as an important part of the LA Galaxy moving forward."
The Galaxy are eighth in the Western Conference with 33 points. They're seeking their first Audi MLS Cup Playoffs trip since winning a record sixth MLS Cup in 2024.
