Caden Clark joined CF Montréal via trade with Minnesota United FC on August 8, 2024.
The Medina, Minnesota native joined the Barça Residency Academy in Arizona in 2017. In 2020, Clark joined the New York Red Bulls reserve team and played one season in the USL Championship before signing his first professional contract with the New Yorkers on October 10.
In 2021 he ranked 8th in the 2021 MLS 22 under 22, a list of the 22 best players under the age of 22 in MLS.
Clark was transferred to RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga on June 24, 2021. In 2022, he returned on loan to the New York Red Bulls for the MLS season then joined Danish first division club Vendyssel FF on loan.
In January 2024, Clark joined Minnesota United FC on a permanent transfer, before being traded to Montreal CF in August.
Immediately upon his arrival in Montreal, Clark scored four goals and added four assists in nine games to help the Bleu-blanc-noir reach the 2024 MLS Cup playoffs.
On the international stage, Clark helped the United States win the 2022 Concacaf U20 Championship.
