George Campbell joined CF Montréal via trade from Atlanta United in December 2022.
A product of the Atlanta academy, Campbell began his career in the USL Championship with the reserve team before signing his first professional contract in July 2019 and playing three MLS seasons in Georgia.
Campbell scored his first goal for Montreal in a 1-0 win over the New England Revolution on August 26, 2023. In 2024, the defender set a new personal milestone by playing 2,197 minutes as part of CF Montréal's back line.
On the international stage, Campbell represented the United States at U20 and U23 levels.
